Below I have compiled a list of most of the key hotels on Guam. I have been to most of them and have included comments that hopefully will help you choose. Click here to compare the current rates for most of the hotels on Guam. To check rates and availably for a specific hotel click on its name below. The hotel booking service being used is the one I've found to consistently have the lowest room rates.

Alupang Beach Tower - Tamuning, Guam

Continental restaurant, swimming pool, fitness room, jacuzzi, ocean view. This is a very nice hotel with numerous water activities at or close to the hotel. It would be possible to walk to Agana Boat Basin if you do not rent a car. Tumon which is the major tourist area is about 10 minutes by car.

Aston Inn on the Bay - Agat, Guam
Restaurant, swimming pool, on-site bank, pharmacy, rental cars, southern ocean view, shopping arcade, Diving, Shuttle Bus, Laundromat, Barbeque Facilities, Bank. This Hotel is in Agat which quite far from the main tourist area, malls and other shopping. You dining choices will be more limited. The hotel is on the water but not so much a beach. On the up side it is closer to the marina in Agat and the harbor where most of the dive trips leave from. It is also close to the naval base. Agat is pretty and I would recommend it if you want a peaceful place with more local flavor.

Guam Hilton Hotel - Tumon, Guam
Continental, Japanese, European, and Asian restaurants, coffee house, outdoor lounge, swimming pool, water sports activities, fitness center, beach club, tennis courts, conference rooms, shopping arcade. The Hilton is one of my favorite hotels. It's a beautiful hotel right on Tumon Beach it has great restaurants with wonderful vegan options. There's Latin dancing and dining on Wednesday nights. The hotel is right next to Ypao Beach Park which is where many events on Guam are held. This hotel seems to have a higher percentage of statesiders and locals staying or enjoying the restaurants and facilities. But like most of the hotels on Guam Japanese tourists predominate. Although this is certainly one of my top choices, there is less activity on this end of Tumon. It is certainly possible to walk to virtually all of the shopping, restaurants, and night life in the Tumon Beach area but it will not be right outside the front door. At the same time the Hilton is one of the hotels that you can really enjoy without having to leave the hotel.

Guam Hotel Okura - Tumon, Guam
European, Japanese, and Chinese restaurants, coffee house, cocktail lounge, 2 swimming pools, marine sports center, exercise room, game room, beauty salon, shopping arcade, banquet and conference rooms. Sorry to say I have never stayed at the Okura. It is in Tumon which is the main tourist area.
366 Rooms

Guam Marriott Resort - Tumon, Guam
Cantonese, Japanese, and European restaurants, coffee house, health club, swimming pool, shopping arcade, water sports, business center. I have been to the Marriott for local functions. As best I can tell it is a pretty nice hotel. It is in the center of the Tumon Beach area on the beach side. It would be a relatively short walk to most of the nightlife restaurants and shopping is. It is also possible to walk up to the 24 hour Kmart from here.
436 Rooms

Guam Reef Hotel - Tumon, Guam
Continental and Japanese restaurants, coffee house, swimming pool, barbecue house, lounge, tennis, shopping arcade. The Reef is in what I consider the Heart of Tumon where most of the tourist activity is. They used to have Ballroom dancing every Tuesday night but now it's only on special occasions. I have been in one of their more expensive rooms and I have to say was very nice.
456 Rooms

Hotel Nikko Guam - Tumon, Guam
Continental, Japanese, and Chinese restaurants, coffee house, swimming pool, water park, tennis courts, banquet facilities, shopping arcade. I have never stayed at the Nikko but I have been there for functions. My brother has a membership and he and his family use the pool area and beach frequently. The beach area is more secluded behind the Nikko. It is are short walk to where most of the tourist activity is.
492 Rooms

Hyatt Regency Guam - Tumon, Guam
Japanese, Italian, international, and Mexican restaurants, business center, conference and banquet rooms, art gallery, fitness center, swimming pools, water park, shopping. The Hyatt has some of the nicest rooms. I think that they have one of the best room layouts for couples that want to have a romantic getaway. It's popular for local functions and in the heart of Tumon. The Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants on Guam with a good number of vegan choices. The pool and beach area are very nice with great landscaping. If you have kids they will like the water slide and pool design.
455 Rooms

Ladera Tower - Mangilao, Guam
Ocean view rooms, swimming pool, tennis court, restaurant, fitness center, business center, mini mart and singing room. Spacious accommodation with a jacuzzi tub in the master bath. A good choice for a group or family that wants separate bedrooms. I believe all the rooms have two or thee bedrooms. Think of it as renting a luxury condo. I have stayed here and had small parties with family and friends. Close to University of Guam and Guam Community College. You will need transportation to get around from here. The main tourist area is 20 or more minutes by car.
218 Rooms

Onward Beach Resort - Tamuning, Guam

Continental, Mediterranean, and Japanese restaurants, conference rooms, 2 swimming pools, water park, sauna, jacuzzi, Shopping arcade, oceanside location. I've never stayed at the Onward but I have been there for functions. It's seems pretty nice. I do not think the water park is included with the room rate but it is first rate water park. The regular pool area is nice and the hotel is right on the beach. This hotel is on the Agana Bay Beach not Tumon Bay Beach. There is a lot less tourist activity in this area but it is only a five to ten minute drive to the main tourist area, mall and movie theater. There is probably a free bus during most of the day time hours to get to these areas.

286 Rooms

Outrigger Guam Resort  - Tumon, Guam
Beachfront in the heart of Tumon Bay, Laundry/Valet Services, Meeting Facilities, Pools, Whirlpool Spa, Children's Playground, Wedding Chapel, Fitness Center. I'm sitting in the lobby of the Outrigger right now using their free wireless internet! The lobby is comfortable and large and quite elegant. There are ample power outlets to plug your laptop into. You can even sit outside and use the internet. This hotel is in the center of all the main tourist activities. I really love their Palm Cafe. Ask for the vegetarian menu even if your not vegetarian some of the best choices are on it. Their pool and beach area are nice. Not sure about the rooms but if I had to live in a hotel on Guam I think I would choose the Outrigger based on the rest of my experience.
600 Rooms

Pacific Islands Club - Tumon, Guam
Continental, Chinese, Western, and Japanese restaurants, coffee house, disco. 5 swimming pools, water park, putter golf, in-line skate park, tennis, racquetball, and squash courts, club type activities, shopping arcade. Recreation get away sums it up. More fun activities concentrated on the hotel grounds than almost any hotel I have every been in. The hotel manager is a friend and I have to say he runs a really fun hotel here in Guam and on Saipan. The hotel is situated in the center of Tumon beach. A convenient walk to all the tourist activities outside the hotel. That is if you ever want to leave the hotel.
501 Rooms

Pia Marine Resort Hotel - Tamuning, Guam
Restaurant and lounge, swimming pool and tennis court. Golf driving range right across the street. The beach and main tourist area are a short drive away.
221 Rooms

Tamuning Plaza Hotel - Tamuning, Guam
American restaurant. I have to say I do not know exactly where this hotel is. It should be a short drive to the beach and main tourist area.
